Application in public policy and service delivery Relied upon to support enduring public policies and service delivery. ii. Importance to key national progress measurement Used to illustrate progress in Australian economic performance, environmental sustainability and social wellbeing. iii. Domestic legislative requirement Australian Government and/or majority of state and territory legislation identifies requirement for production of statistical information. iv. International reporting obligation and/or critical for international comparability Includes mandatory reporting obligations to IMF, OECD, UN and key internationally comparable indicators.
